Possible Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 (6GB RAM) render shows off a notched display

In the Indian budget and mid-range market, Xiaomi smartphones reign supreme. Xiaomi’s Redmi Note series, soon to be joined by the  Redmi Note 6 Pro in India , are hard to beat in the price conscious Indian market. But the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 has been a serious contender for best mid-range smartphone in India when it was launched  earlier this year . With a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636, up to 6GB RAM/64GB storage, a 5.99-inch 1080×2160 LCD, dual 13+5MP rear cameras, 5,000mAh battery, and near stock  Android 8.1  Oreo, the ZenFone Max Pro M1 seems like the perfect smartphone for an Indian XDA user on a budget. We’ve heard rumors that Asus is gearing up to launch the ZenFone Max Pro M2, and now the device has appeared online with what may be the first press render showing off its notched display. A few days ago, notable leaked Roland Quandt from WinFuture tweeted some  possible specifications  for the upcoming Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2. Among the specifications he posted included the

Why would you want to build your own VR backpack? To save money and move freely!

One of the first issues we came across with the  HTC Vive  was the cable that follows you around the room, potentially tripping you up or pulling on the headset when you've taken time to get a perfect fit. While mainstream wireless VR systems are seemingly somewhere around the corner, some PC manufacturers have taken it upon themselves to create the next best thing: VR backpacks. The cable running from your PC to your headset is no longer a problem, and immersion is taken one step further. Unfortunately, these backpacks are usually prohibitively expensive, and, besides, you might already have the hardware needed to create your own. Is it possible? Is it worth the time? Let's find out! Pre-built backpack options Before we get into building our own backpack, let's take a look at some pre-built offerings from HP, ZOTAC, and MSI. HP OMEN X For  about $3,000 , you can grab this sleek, compact PC with an Intel Core i7-7820HK quad-core processor (CPU), an NVIDIA GTX 1

BlackBerry Motion arrives with no keyboard and a giant battery

That didn't take long -- mere days after  images emerged , BlackBerry has  launched the Motion. As expected, it's effectively a  KEYone  without the keyboard... and a couple of extra perks. You're still looking at a mid-range device with a Snapdragon 625 chip, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and a 12-megapixel rear camera, just with a 5.5-inch 1080p display taking up most of the front (there's still a fingerprint reader). However, it's what you can't see that makes the difference. The Motion is IP67 water-resistant, and it packs a whopping 4,000mAh battery. Given the middling processor, this likely translates to a phone that can easily handle a full day off the charger. The software will still seem familiar. The Motion is running a customized take on Android 7.1 like its predecessor, and you'll get the same security-focused apps intended to make it business- and privacy-friendly. Don't plan to snap one up right away. The Motion is only shipping to a han
